    1. In total, we got about nine and a half inches on Friday. These pictures were on Sunday after work, the first time we got outside in daylight since I work 12 hour shifts except Sunday, it's only eight. Lots and lots of fun! Now it's almost all gone.

    1. They patiently waited for almost three full days to get out and play due to my work schedule. The timing of the snow wasn't the best since I had to work and they didn't get out much until days later but they had a great time!

    1. You're right! Callie kept rolling and Breeze was jumping and pouncing on her ball when she could find it!

  7. Snow is a feely thing. You don't have to see or hear it. Looks like everyone is just having so much fun.

    1. And one other thing - you can eat it! Wouldn't that be fun if you all came and played in the snow?

It does look like fun! I love watching them all play. Are you guys ever going to thaw out? That still looks like a lot of snow.

    1. We did have snow but it's been melting and there isn't much left. The yard is more ice than snow so it isn't as much fun.

    1. They love it, no matter how deep it is. Brook was almost up to her chin as she was trying to run through the deeper drifts by the fence.

  12. Lots of fun in the snow!!! I can tell that your pack loves it!

You asked about why I'm trying to have Shyla get used to "town". The reason is that we tend to take our dogs everywhere with us, including town. I'd love for her to enjoy (or even just not be scared) when we go to the city to see our nephews or when she has to spend the day at the vet. We also do road trips in our van throughout the spring, summer, and fall, which also involve stopping in towns... and the dogs being exposed to the bustle of the towns. So, I'd love for Shyla to be comfortable with more urban areas than our mountain home.

But, if it turns out that Shyla can't be comfortable with towns, we'll modify our habits... She's wonderful and we'll all deal with any limitations she might end up having.

Thanks for asking a good question. I'll address it in a post someday soon!

    1. Thanks for your reply. I always find it interesting to learn about what others are doing and why. With our pack, those that love the hustle and bustle of town go and those that don't stay home. A visit to a store for instance is high on Hiker's list of favorite things to do and the last thing in the world Forest wants to do. As I've mentioned, some of the pack are super social and some aren't.
