Goodbye

This post is to say good bye.

After our recent tragic loss of Azule, I have some very difficult decisions to make. Decisions that will change how and where our future will be.  Making life altering decisions in the wake of such a devastating loss is not something that I want to do but know I must.

For now at least, there will be no updates on this blog.  I have enjoyed the time spent with it and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to share our adventures. By giving you a glimpse into the lives of some special needs dogs, hopefully we have shown you just how normal they are.

If time and internet connection permits we’ll try to stop by your blogs and say hi. Maybe in the future we’ll get back to blogging and perhaps explain things better, but no promises, okay?

  1. Oh Mates. You must do what is best for you and your pack. We have enjoyed your company and the glimpses of your life. We hope to hear from you one day in the future. We never know what's around the corner and we wish you peace and happiness. From our pack to yours, we can only say "see ya later mates".
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory (and Carol) xxx

  4. I hope you know that there are many people - good people - here in the dog blogosphere who wish the best for you, and would be sooo happy to offer you support and help if needed, whether it be emotional, financial, whatever. Please call on me if there is ANYTHING I can do. Good luck and all best wishes,

  6. Sorry to see you go. Sounds like you have a lot going on. Thank you for sharing your dogs with us for a little while. I for one truly enjoyed learning about them and reading about their adventures. You've educated me quite a bit on the ownership of a blind and/or deaf dog.

  7. Take the time you need. I know what it's like, to just not have it in you to blog, when you have lost a loved one. We will be here, and if you need to talk, I am on FB, Twitter and Instagram. Here is my email Katkia222 at yahoo dot com.

  8. Sorry to see you go but understand life and family must take precedence over a blog any day! Good luck to you all:)

  9. Okay. We've loved watching the pups with their own disABILITIES and personalities, but we understand having a break in blogging. Thanks for telling us. We sometimes wonder what happens to bloggers who just disappear.

So sorry to hear about Azule. That's one of my biggest fears (besides Riley running away or getting lost). I have no idea how you must feel right now, but my heart goes out to you.

Please try to take some time out for you and know that you gave Azule such a great life with so many adventures from the very first day you adopted her in 2012.
