During one of exploring adventures recently, we saw some interesting and very large wild animals. Much larger than we are used to seeing here where there are no moose, no bears, no deer. The largest free roaming wild animal is the coyote.
Yes, they are real. There is a park where they live and visitors can walk up to the fence to check them out and there are also viewing platforms.
No pictures with the dogs because even though there was a big fence, it wouldn't be nice to.have an excitable dog or two checking them out.
We continued on our adventure for the day and headed to the beach -
Then we tried to get Callie to pose for a picture with a lighthouse in the background but as usual, Callie didn't want her picture taken!
(The waves were rough this day so Callie had to remain on a long leash for safety)
WOW! Bison, now that's something you don't see every day.ReplyDelete
We LOVE 'Panting Shore Road'......very dog friendly.
Gosh we are impressed with the sight of those magnificent Bison. Have a tremendous Thursday.ReplyDelete
Best wishes Molly
I was deeply disappointed when we were in Colorado several years ago. All the signs said "Danger! Bison area!" but we didn't see a single one. This was before Silas--I'm not sure how he would handle an animal that large.ReplyDelete
Howdy Mates, wowza, those buffalo are beautiful aren't they. We heard once (and we don't know if it's true) that Neil Young (the singer) had the largest herd of buffalo in the US. Take care and have a grreat weekend. No worries, and love, Stella and RoryReplyDelete
