Monday Mischief

Forest has decided to take on the role of Prince Charming and is wandering around looking for his Cinderella.

We don't have any glass slippers so he is substituting other footwear.

"Since it's been raining, a rubber boot for my princess."

"Maybe this will work, it's a slipper I chewed for a while."

"Maybe I'll find her in the wilderness with this hiking boot."

"Brook, will you be my Cinderella princess?"

Forest didn't find his Cinderella.

"Maybe I'll try again another day."

    1. Well, since he has The Mom's footwear, I think he'll be okay!

  3. That is the saddest looking slipper EVER! lol!

Brook looks like she may be thinking "Um...awkward and no I will not be your princess. Move along buddy." Too cute!

    1. They are allowed that slipper and not the new ones. Your comment on Brook is almost exactly what I was thinking!!

  4. Hi, I'm just catching up since last week. Hurray for the Spotted Wonder for mastering the stairs!!! That's really an accomplishment.

Your writing cracks me up and really captures the essence of what's going on with the 6 pack. It's so inspiring and amazing what you're doing with those dogs that other people considered trash.

Tough weekend for shoes at your house! Sorry you didn't find your 'sole-mate', though!

    1. They seem to be a bunch of gatherers. Not much happens to the shoes, they just end up add places!

  6. After a few 'shoe' incidents we get in trouble if we carry around HER shoes. Besides, we think your Cinders won't be wearing shoes anyway..BOL!

    1. I'm just glad they aren't taking them outside and leaving them in the yard any more. That was annoying!

Forest, Riley may be willing to be your Cinderella if you share some of your toys/treats with her...I know, too good to be true, huh?? ;)

Yay for Breeze conquering the stairs!! I remember when Riley was a puppy and couldn't navigate the stairs...we had to carry her up and down them and she was starting to get heavy...I can only imagine what it was like for a bigger dog to have to be carried!

    1. If Riley is up for it, Forest would share! As for Breeze, once she got to the 35 pound mark, it was getting difficult to safely carry her. I knew she could do it, it was all a matter of getting confident enough.

    1. Breeze now disappears then we hear thumps from upstairs - it's her checking things out, her indoor world has gotten bigger!

What about a Cinder-Bella ? *wag wag wag* I smell good. I look good, but sometimes, especially with shoes, I don't behave so good. *wag wag wag*
