Azule made a new friend a few weeks ago. We had traveled back to Ontario to sign the papers for the sale of the house (hooray!) and to remove all the things remaining. Azule, Bill and Forest were along for the road trip. The remainder of the pack stayed home and had a fantastic pet sitter come in to look after them.
After things were done at the house, before returning home, my friend offered that we join him at his cottage for a couple of days. Knowing that we wouldn't be able to visit again for a long time, the offer was accepted. He has a young cocker spaniel pup and Azule was quite excited to have a little playmate.

Forest and Bill, being the nervous types they are were happier to hang out by themselves.
Being a little concerned about "his boy" our friend will never see this picture -
Sometimes the camera captures something that looks bad but of course isn't. There were a couple of times where Azule did get annoyed at his puppy antics and times when Riley was barking at her and not getting a reaction since Azule is deaf. Overall, they played very well together and I think that Riley enjoyed having a new friend, even though it was only for a day and a half.
Riley those are some fangtastic nashers you are showing there. Glad you enjoyed having a new furend. Have a fabulous Friday.

Puppy!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad your house sold. That must be a big weight off your mind.
Very cute! I got some crazy teethy pics too, knowing full well that they were having a blast:)
ReplyDeleteThat's nice. I needed a story like that today. Riley is cute!
ReplyDeleteAlso I am glad for you that you have the house sold!

They are both adorable :) My gentle, timid dog Emma is the one who surprisingly looks the most fierce in play pictures as she always bares her teeth like, too!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the sale of the house! So glad you had a good trip, love the pics of Azule and Bailey. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Azule
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time playing with Riley :) Hope you get to meet up with him again one day for another play. Milo & Jet
Hey, that Riley is a good-looking dog (of course, I kind of think all dogs named "Riley" are good-looking dogs, but hey...). ;) Glad things with the house are finally coming to a close! Looks like Azule and Riley had lots of fun...we have some pictures like that where Chloe was looking quite ferocious, but it was (mostly) all fun and games between the two girls.
ReplyDeleteDogs can look quite scary when they are playing, but they look like great friends. That little pup sure is adorable!
