Excavation east coast

The east coast excavation has begun.

The central Canada excavation was halted abruptly a few weeks ago and operations were relocated to the east coast.

Although it is in the early stages, we are pleased to report that the east coast excavation is being conducted with the same high level of enthusiasm!

It seems that this red dirt is denser and the excavation is taking longer.  As a result, more frequent breaks are required.

  4. What is it with these blind dogs? There must be something hugely satisfying about the feel of dirt flying out from under the paws.

  6. Looks like the city workers we see working on the streets around here - lotta breaks!

Such cute pics! They deserve a good hearty treat after all that hard work.

Just catching up on your posts. Your WW shots are wonderful. The mismatched Monday Mischief shoes are too funny.

  11. You guys have really been hard at work! Glad to see you've been making progress.

I know I'm always sharing stories about my dearly departed cattle dog Tashi, but she used to love to dig out little trenches to rest her back half in. Is that a cattle dog thing?
