There it is again.
Hiding over there and watching the dogs.
See it? In the centre of the picture.
Here is a close-up.
Yup, the cat.
His name is Stripe. He appeared one bitterly cold January day and has been in the barn ever since. (He got neutered in the spring.) Stripe loves to torment the dogs by hanging around outside the dog's fenced area. When the dogs bark at him, he flicks his tail and ever so casually walks away.
Cats DO love to torment dogs. They may or may not realize that they are also tormenting the walker of said dogs, who has to somehow keep everyone together through the spell of mad barking, lunging, and yodeling.
ReplyDeleteHaha! I'm grinning. Kirsten, your descriptions of leash reactivity always crack me up - you manage to bring humour to what must be an incredibly frustrating situation to live with.
DeleteI guess a cat needs amusement too. :)
ReplyDeleteWe know all about that. We have tormenting cats, too. They make us soooooooo mad!
ReplyDeleteHow nice of you to neuter the cat which just appeared. Funny that the cat isn't bothered by the dogs causing a ruckus.
