Here are some pictures of spring, taken at our home on Thursday.
This is Brook. I can literally grab handfuls of that fluffy fur off her. Easier to do that than sweep it up off the floors.
This is what the first day of spring looked like outside on Thursday afternoon.
"Spring? Are you sure?" |
I agree wil Bill. Are you sure it's spring?
ReplyDeleteWe have a FURminator for the dogs and their relentless shedding.
PS. Now that you're a proud owner of a dehydrator, you should have a go at kale chips. They're sooo good. DK asks me to make them all the time. Just tear up pieces of kale, toss lightly with olive oil, and sprinkle lightly with sea salt.
DeleteWe have a FURminator and love it!
DeleteAre kale chips done that way better than in the oven? I tried that once, only once. Yuck. What about baby organic spinach, I buy that all the time. Spinach chips anyone?!
Yea they're completely dried out and crispy. I guess you'd have to like the taste of kale to like them though. They seem to be a popular vegan snack these days. But with the price tag of $7 for one small bag. Yikes!
DeleteI've never tried spinach chips. I was wondering how those would turn out the other day. Let me know if you do it!
My mom's clients gave us a box of the biggest mangoes ever. I wondered about dehydrating those too. But then I are them all before I could get around to dehydrating them. Haha!
Uh oh, Brook better hang onto that fur for a bit longer. Spring is definitely playing jokes this year.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Now all the news reports are about how it was around 24C/75F degrees warmer last year! That just makes it worse I think.
DeleteIt is snowing at our place right now. this is crazy but at least it isn't too hot......
ReplyDeleteMy Vickie loves it when our guests are shedding clumps liek those. She likes to brush or comb them out and then leave them for the birds to make their nests. It makes her feel like she is helping the baby birds to have softer beds....
Bert
That's a great idea! We should do that, with three or four that shed clumps, we could help some baby birdies stay cozy. Thanks for the idea.
DeleteHowdy Mates, wowza funny spring you are having. Snow instead of blossom hehe. Our Autumn is funny too with heaps of hot hot weather and now a little rain. Weird. Enjoy your weekend. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteWe'll gladly take the hot weather! Your winter won't be anywhere near as cold as ours though, will it? Stay out of the rain so the floors stay clean!
DeleteIt's been down right hot, here. We're bringing the warm weather with us, it won't be long!!!
ReplyDeletePromise?! We're waiting for the hot weather so we can set the pool up for the dogs. I'm thinking it'll be a couple of months yet though.
DeleteLove Bill's expression!
ReplyDeletePoor Bill. He is not a fan of cold weather, not at all. He's a southern boy who loves the heat.
