All the dogs were outside enjoying the early evening sunshine and then they all came in, except for blind Breeze. Nothing unusual in that, she often stays out by herself as does blind Hiker. They enjoy wandering the yard, sniffing and exploring. After about a half hour, I went to see if Breeze was ready to come in since she rarely barks at the door.
Seems that a local internet supplier dropped off some information. Dropped being the key word. I can only assume that it was dropped over the fence instead of being placed in the mailbox since Breeze found it.
Of course, once the others saw that Breeze had something, they had to rush outside to get in on it too.
"But that was mine, I found it!" |
It had been in a bag and it looked like Breeze had a great time ripping it open to get at the papers. She has a thing for paper and loves to shred it.
Breeze to Brook: "See this bag? It had paper in it!" |
It might have been a good deal on an internet upgrade but we'll never know since we're not going to try and piece the papers together to read about it.
No harm done. We don't own a computer.
Wait, you're a blogger who doesn't own a computer? How does that work?
ReplyDeleteOops...busted!! : ) I use a computer at work - sshhhhh! and also go to the local library.
DeleteHa! I thought the same thing. Kaya & Norman ripped up their DNA tests when they were delivered in my yard. I was so bummed, but luckily they were replaced at no extra charge. Why do dogs love paper and plastic??
DeleteA newspaper is a cheap and fun "toy" at our house as long as a human is prepared to clean up the mess!
DeleteAhhh I was going to ask the same question. :)
DeleteBreeze was just showing her opinion of the deal....or of someone littering your garden. We shredded paper when we were pups, but we grew out of it.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
That gives me hope that Breeze might grow out of it since she is almost a year old.
DeleteOur dogs both like paper, too. And that's funny that you're a blogger who doesn't own a computer!! :)
ReplyDeleteElyse and Riley
I think that we are one of the last homes without a computer. No "smart" phones or any of that either! Maybe that's why playing with paper is so much fun.
DeleteOwning a computer and having the internet is overrated anyway. With 7 dogs... ain't nobody got time fo' dat :P
ReplyDeleteLOL! Ain't got no money fo' dat either!
DeleteNice shredding, the punks are jealous! They haven't grown out of it at 4 and 5, hope you have better luck. :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have smart phones either. I'm on the computer all day at work and then at night for school, I don't want to carry one with a little bitty screen too!
I've quickly learned to not leave any newspapers laying around or else that spotted wonder of a blind dog will be shredding.
DeleteAfter dealing with the public and using a computer at work, I don't need one at home. Home time is for humans and animals. Much more relaxing that way.
Thanks for your comment on our pooping problem! BOL!
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle a bit about this! Wonder if the salesman was a tad scared of those two!
They aren't very scary although Breeze does have a "big dog" bark!
DeleteI had exactly the same reaction. No computer and you're a blogger??? I see the answer above. My dogs would have destroyed that too... Shredding paper seems to be a favorite pastime!
ReplyDeleteI think our house is one of the last in the civilized world (along with Blueberrry's) without a computer!
DeleteI think Breeze was just letting them know they should be careful where they place things when it's in someone's yard.
ReplyDeleteIt might be that Breeze takes the guarding of her yard very seriously or just that she's still a puppy.
DeleteThat's pretty funny! Now that I know you don't have a computer at home, I understand how you get all those home renovations done! LOL! I'm glad it was just harmless paper and plastic that was dropped over the fence.
ReplyDeleteSusan and Wrigs
I think that if we had a computer it would, for the most part, just sit and collect dust!
DeleteBreeze was just making an executive decision to get rid of the offer so you weren't tempted to get a computer. ;) She's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteAs you know - I'm with you - no computer at home! I had one for a while and I found myself using it way too often. That's what work is for! And yes, the library. :)
That's it - if we got a computer there would be less dog time!
DeleteI am sure we are the minority, being bloggers without a home computer.
That is right out of a doggy dream... a special package waiting just for her on her nightly patrol of the backyard! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteI think that if she had her way, there would have been more paper for shredding and maybe something to eat too!
