Pool party!

Saturday was a wonderful warm and sunny day, with temperatures around 12C/54F.  We were all outside enjoying the sunshine and decided that it was warm enough for a pool party!  The first of the year.

Our blind puppy Breeze was only a few months old last summer when we had the pool out and she was a bit cautious about it on Saturday.

Within a few minutes, it all seemed to come back to her!

Blind Brook didn't venture in this time.  She seemed interested but unsure.

Not sure what was going on here, just  Breeze and Forest sticking their tongues out at each other.

There was also some lounging in the yard. In the shadows along the fence you can see some snow still lingering and white fluffy stuffings from a toy that Breeze decided the birds could use for nesting.

Bill enjoyed the sunshine and warmth in his most favorite way. Laying on the deck for most of the afternoon.

    1. Once the real summer weather arrives and the temperatures are around 28C/82F we'll be thinking that 54F is cold too. For now, it was warm enough, although this morning we've got flurries again.

  2. Swimming at 54 degrees...sheesh. We've had a couple days of 77 and SHE's rugged up like it's snowing. Of course, we dogs love these temperatures.

    1. There won't be any swimming for a few days now that the temperature has dropped again. Do you ever get snow where you are?

Thought I should send this on. One of Ray's daycare attendants posted it on my facebook page. 8 pack anyone?

    1. What are you trying to do to us?! : ) If we could, we would. For right now, with things that are happening, we can't. What about you?? A pair. Ray would have a buddy and not be so bored. Just sayin'.

The pack looks like they're having a great time. Bill sure tool advantage of the warm weather!

    1. Ya, that is typical Bill, as soon as the weather warms up, he flops on the deck and that is it for the afternoon! Smart boy.

  6. I love how they look sprawled out in the yard. Are any of the pack swimmers?

    1. Oh ya, we got swimmers! Callie loves to fetch in the water and blind Hiker is a great swimmer.

  7. You pups are tough! Pool party when it's only 54 degrees?! Looks like Breeze had a ball once she figured out that it was safe. Love the photo of her and Forest in the pool together. One of our previous dogs, Andi, used to adore playing in her wading pool. Wrigs, on the other hand, would not get in the pool no matter how hot it gets. He's just not a fan of water. Bill's approach is more to his liking. :-)

    1. To us, due to the cold weather we've had, 54 degrees is warm! I think that Bill and Wrigs both have the right idea - lay on the deck!

We pigs rarely show our tongues, but Melon nearly died of cute when she saw me licking orange juice off the table once!

    1. You would look very cute licking orange juice off the table! Uh, wait, what were you doing on the table? I suppose because you are cute and little you're allowed.
