Wow, that is a deeeeep hole! Riley used to dig a lot when she was a puppy, so our backyard is kind of "bumpy" now because of all the old holes. Luckily she outgrew it, but she still likes to dig up tree roots and pull them out of the ground...sigh. Luckily, she never dug a hole that deep. I'm sure it keeps them cool in hot weather. Plus, how fun is it to go lie in the hole and jump out on one of the pack members as they walk by?? ;)
They are having a great time with the hole but I always worry about Brook since she is so little (and blind) she might hurt herself falling in! Of course, she hasn't yet. Breeze has found some tree roots here too and pulls on them.
Don't give them any ideas! They have the pool, they don't need a pond too. Besides, we visited a neighbor a couple of years ago and Hiker fell into their pond. Oops.
IMPRESSIVE!!! We'll start digging from out end and maybe meet in the middle!
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
BOL!! We'll be looking for ya!
DeleteOf course Breeze is the one hiding in it. I'd love to see a post about Daisy and your gang meeting in the center of the earth :)
ReplyDeleteSure, she started digging it! I am a bit concerned about Brook falling in though, since she is so little.
DeleteWhat a great hole to play in! Looks like fun to me!

We'd never find a little guy like you in that big of a hole!
DeleteAre you guys trying to dig your way to you ancestral homeland down under?
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering but since it was Breeze that started it, I think maybe she is trying to get the others to leave!

DeleteWow, that is impressively deep! Excellent place to hide and get some privacy!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny watching them nestle in and then dig a bit more to get it "just right".
DeleteWow, very deep, probably for the deep thinkers in the pack.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! You're too kind. The only deep thoughts are along the lines of "is there food?" and "is there more food?".
DeleteAh, a pack after my own heart.
DeleteCocoa
looks like it's going to be a nice bed to lie in!
ReplyDeleteI just hope that they can share and don't need one each!
DeleteJust fill it with water and add some Koi, and you'll have a lovely water feature "upgrade" to the back yard. ;-)

DeleteHoly Gravedigger, Batman! Now that's what I call a HOLE.
ReplyDeleteSimilar to Ray, Breeze has big feet, perfect for digging big holes!
DeleteWOW! Those are great shots of Breeze, champion digger!
ReplyDeleteI don't dig, I'm far too interested in the nommy stuff above the earth. :)
